Axle/Gears: 3.73
replacing clutch disc

well i am pulling my trany this weekend. hopefully. i want to replace the clutch disc and presser plate. what should i use as a replacement. is there anything else that i should replace at this time. by the way i have a 84 V8 with a T5.

Throw out bearing and pilot bushing. make sure that your flywheel is resurfaced also or the new clutch will not last very long.

if it's just a street car , good quality stock should be fine . stay away from china junk . good luck .

The dia should be 10.4", 26 spline. When you pull the tranny, I would suggest you remove the tranny from the bellhousing first. Doing so will allow you to reach the top bolts on the bellhousing alot easier.

yep i removed the tranny today and left the bellhousing. thanks for the other info
