i am replacing my transmission and am also replacing the flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate. i am also looking at doing a 350 swap at a later date and would like to reuse what i can so i want to purchase products that will work now and later

the stock flywheel is relatively light. what would you recommend as a replacement for the stock. a 15lb or a heaver 30 lb. here is what im looking at http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ZZZ-50-6516

i also need a clutch and pressure plate but i read that the hydraulics may not be strong enough to disengage a high performance clutch. but i want a higher performance replacement then stock. here is what i am looking at. will it work.

have you maybe got a chance to weigh the stock flywheel?
on the 350 swap, it depends if you are doing a 1-piece or 2-piece rear main seal block.
also your 84 T5 is probably a non-worldclass T5, meaning it will grenade with anything over 240lbft put to it over some time..

does anyone know what a stock flywheel weighs.
