i have a 83 camaro 305 700r4 tranny just got it running to find out there problem with the tranny fuild is full smells fine when im light on the throttle it does fine to its about to shift then it slips i let off it grabs and goes i havent messed with the tv cable i just hooked it up to the carb dont know to much about it i was wandering if the tv cable could make it silp by itself with out the tranny really being messed up

 

what happens when you dont let up on the gas?

 

if i just hold it down it just starts sliping about 2,500 rpms then redlines
