t56 ina 3rd gen questions

t56 ina 3rd gen questions

i have read and read all the forums on this now i have some questions maybe i am not seeing

i know i need to get a t56 how ever i want to make sure i have everything esle for the swap


what type of fly wheel do i need one from an lt1????
i know i need a cross member and the master and slave and pedals clutch and stuff

what am i missing....

also mine has a vss on it.... and i want to go after market gauges any how what will i need to do to wire this all up to read the vss or is that impossible...

If your motor is a 1pcRMS, you can use a stock LT1 FW. If you have a 2pcRMS, you'll need a conversion FW from Centerforce,McLeod,Fridenza.

An Autometer Electronic speedo will read the T56 VSS directly, just wire it directly in.

Theres a member on here which can install a mech speedo gear so your factory cluster will work, but thats up to you in the route you go.
