Your car appears to be a Canadian export car (I'm guessing it's a non-ECM car - right ?) If it's a non-Computer Controled car than that wire leading to your tranny is the TCC lock-up wire. It should lead to a vacuum soleniod that's connected to vacuum from teh carb. You will NOT neeed this wire on the T5

The wires at the Neutral Saftey switch that you need to worry about are the Green wire and the Blue wire. You will need to get yourself a plug fo rthe T5's reverse light switch and wire the Blue & Green wires to it so you have working reverse lights.

Hope this helps !

Re: 700R4 to T5 conversion... more questions

hi ,,thankyou ..that's what i needed to know...my car is a carb non-ecm car ....so the green wire to the 700r4 i can just put aside ant not use...the green and blue wire get plugged into the paasenger side of the T5 ?..with a 2 prong connector?....ok that sounds easy enough ,,,one last thing..the neutral safety plug besides the green and blue wires becomes useless?..and what about the clutch neutral safety...i guess it's not a big deal that the car may be started in gear?...besides these things ,,,anything else i should look out for?...thankyou and i appreciate all your help.
