200C to TH350 - Dipstick and Kickdown Questions
I've done numerous searches and wasn't able to find a solid answer, so I'll ask here:
I am swapping my 200C from my 82 Crossfire T/A to a TH350. The 350 isn't installed yet. Here are my questions:
1. Can I use the stock dipstick tube? It appears to fit in the hole nicely, but is it long enough? I see some people buy a Lokar flexible tube. If I have to I will go this route, but would like to use the stock one if I can.
2. Can I use the stock kickdown cable? Will it be long enough? Also, the end of the kickdown cable (that goes in the transmission) has a small loop on the end of the wire, but the bracket on the valve body also had just a small hole in it...so do I need a wire to connect the two pieces through the holes?
Thanks!
Joe

On number 1, I honestly can't tell you.
On number two, there should be a little rod/wire thingy sticking up from the VB out to the hole in the top of the case.

That's what I thought, but the wire is missing. Where can I get just the wire at? Any ideas? Looks like I can only get them by purchasing another kickdown cable.
Thanks,
Joe
