Will changing my speed cable be hard to replace?

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Will changing my speed cable be hard to replace?

well today i looked into why my speed sensor was not working..well i found somebody cut it whoever owned it before me..will this be hard to replace??will i have to drop the transmission?

Replacement is a PITA because of how the cable runs, but it's doable. You don't have to drop the trans.
