I just finished my v8 700r4 swap. My car was orignally equipped with the t5 and the transmission dosent shift crisp like it used to in my truck if i buy the tcc lockup kit from summit will it fix this problem it lags when it shifts any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

 

you do need to buy a tc lockup system, it needs that. But, also your convertor only locks in 3rd and overdrive when cruising. if it was shifting good before and not now...sounds like you might have to throttle valve (detent) cable out of adjustment. Sounds like the pressure is too low, don't continue to drive too long like this a it will burn up the clutches.

 

oK also my tranny crossmember can i fabricatm my t5 crossmember or would it b betterr to go get one from the junkyard?
