Re: Rearend help

I recommend a new Eaton Posi. What gear ratio do you have? If you have a 3.23 to 3.73 gear then the Eaton will work great. You will be much happier with it than an Auburn or most other differentnials. Anything that you find in the junk yard is going to be weak or worn out. It's not a good idea to get 7.5 differentials from the junk yard. If you find a LS1 Camaro then you could use the Torsen unit from it, but I would not use antything else that is used.

Re: Rearend help

Congrats on getting the swap done. What did you wind up putting in it (350,383 etc.)? Good advice already has been given on what you can do, just keep in mind it's still a little 7.5" rear end and no matter what you do to it, it's still weak so I wouldn't put a whole lot of $$ in it.
