Is it a big deal to go from a 4spd with mechanical linkage to a 5 spd out of a 83 or newer. Will it just be plug and play? or am I gonna have jun. No I am not doing a 6spd yet.....kids and wife eat my $$$$$$$. I got the 5spd for $0 from a good friend.

 

I put a 88 5 speed in my old 82 T/A but used hydraulic cluch. Just buy a 84-up 5.0 bellhousing and the hydraulics. less hassle!
