v8 clutch assembly

i am about to put a v8 into my v6 firebird and its got a T5 tranny in it but im confused as to what flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch to use, anyone know what to do? its not an all out race car, i am just simply looking for more power, plus i blew up my v6 and the tranny if freshly rebuilt so i figure it might last awhile behind a mostly babied v8

Warning!!!!! A V6 T5 WILL NOT WORK WITH A V8. The splines are different.

Wrong there is a clutch that will work, i think for an s-10 or something. however you WILL need the fbody V8 bellhousing

The V8 will blow the V6 trans. It can't handle the torque nor the power of the V8. The V6 trans is rated at 200-250 torque.
