Strange Question.....?
I figured this would be the best place to ask, but im not sure anybody knows..
My local Chevrolet dealer couldnt tell me, so maybe you guys could..
My car (1986 IROC-Z) came (unknown to me) without a flywheel/torque converter cover...which probably explains why i blew the first transmission. (700-r4).
I ordered one off eBay, but I have no idea what size bolts or how many Im supposed to have (hasnt arrived yet, so I dont know). I think they're 10mm, but idk what length or whatever and how many. I know its a long shot, and few other cars probably had this problem (if any), so any help would be appreciated!! thanks!

well the best advice I can give you, is take a look at the holes, and then look around in the engine bay and the one that looks like it will fit pull it out and try to see if it works, run the bolt with your hand slowly, if you hit resistance after half a turn or so then it's not the right bolt...

They are 10mm. I think around 1/2"-3/4" long. Either should work fine. I do highly doubt that it caused your trans to blow though.

yeah I doubt that too... however, if you ran over something and somehow the torque converter slammed into whatever then perhaps yeah something broke, but the likely hood of that happening is rare... well of course unless you went off roading in a 6 inch clearance car...
