Bell housing and fly wheel questions please needing help

Alright I have a 88 firebird with a 402 chevy big block with a beefed up t5 and I'm running the Lakewood bell housing for the 82-92 fbody so I could run a 11.5 clutch and flywheel I bought it off eBay at the time it said t 56 would bolt to it so now I have a 95 t56 from a lt1 I wanna put it a boom bolt pattern doesn't exist for it I'm told I could use a lt1 bell housing but I'd have to get a custom made flywheel and switch it to a pull style does anyone know whom would make one or do u guys think I should drill and Tap the Lakewood bell housing has anyone ever done this cause I really don't wanna shell out 500 for another bell housing or does anyone know of a kit for this

The LT1 T56 will require a special conversion flywheel and it' own sized bellhousing. A LS1 T56 can be used with an adapter plate ($200) and use your existing T5 clutch/bell/linkage, you just need an extended pilot bushing.

You have several options, you just need to figure out which path you prefer or can afford, then go from there..

Follow the "thegearbox" link I posted above and it'll take you right to it..

In addition, If you have the means you can pull off the front plate from the LT1-T56 and just swap in a LS1 input shaft, reshim it, and sawsall off the TOB guide tube. The adapter plate will then work the same.
