Lock Up Solenoid wiring help

Installed a mid 70's 350 in my 91 RS. Removed the computer and all of the wiring. So, on the lockup solenoid i plugged in the connector I removed which is a purple wire. I thought that is all that connector had, the purple wire but not for sure. My schematic shows that runs thru the parking switch. I am assuming that purple wire has 12 volts until I hit the brake which should disengage the lockup and let the tranny slip some. Am I right? My schematic also is showing me a Tan/blck wire that appears to be a ground but I cannot find it so assume I tore it out. Also schematic is showing me a light blue that goes to fourth clutch switch. All I have hooked up is that purple wire. Did that conncector with the purple wire have the other two wires from the ECU?? Do I need to get the solenoid a ground? Also do I need to do something with that light blue for the forth clutch switch??
