Engine: Rebuilt 305 new 4 barrel 650 holley
Transmission: T5
Whats going on with my transmission
My car grinds into 3rd and 4th only (not as bad at lower rpm's). But it would grind both up and down while shifting only into those gears. Others were perfectly fine. Whats going on here?

Sounds like the syncros are worn out. They are what syncronize both gears to the same speed so you can change gears without that grinding.

Yep 3rd and 4th syncros are shot. Off to the junk yard to save a few bucks I guess.
