700r4 parts question

I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand identifying what the 2 trannys i have.

1st:
Number on pan rail: 9MAM101B
30 spline
K on bellhousing
MD8 on bell housing
20 on bellhousing
8663548 on oil pump
4 pin connector

2nd:
Number on pan rail: 4KM22ON Might be 4KM220N not sure if it is normally letters on the end or numbers.
27 spline (i think)
8642380 on oil pump
4 pin connector

If anyone can let me know the trick to figuring out the year and any specs that would be great.

I'm looking to buy a pump rebuild kit for the 1st tranny but not sure of any specs so I can purchase one.

Thanks,
Chas

The first is a 1989, the second an early 1984.

Re: 700r4 parts question

I just picked up another 700r4 it's serial looks like this: (x's signify letters)

1x xx then some numbers.

I just glanced at it quick but it only had the number 1 next to 1 letter so does that mean its a 1991? I verified that it indeed is a 700r4 from the pan and non removable bellhousing. What exactly is all the space for?
