I have a slight issue. I am not sure if it is exactly a transmission issue so I am going to just explain it and see what you all think.

This normally happens in overdrive but sometimes in 3rd and it's not often it's a once in a while thing period. But, it happens and I dont' like it. When accelerating at most intensities from slow to fast the car will tend to jerk a little bit. It's not extremely noticable, but I notice it while driving. What could teh problem be?

 

check your motor/tranny mounts, most likely what it is I had the same problem

 

What do I check on them? Make sure they secure or what?

 

Yeah just make sure the rubber isn't shredded and that the mount is generally in tact. My 94 would easily break a brand new stock tranny mount on a single full throttle 1-2 shift. Stock GM tranny mounts are pretty flimsy IMO. I had to go with a poly mount,

 

U just visualy inspect them find a spot on your motor you can use a pry bar try prying the motor up if it moves in exess than you need new ones I agree with 94_lt1_z when you replace them use poly ones they are much stronger and dont cost much more.
