What are my torque arm options?
I have a Hawks T56 crossmember, and a Spohn relocation style TQ arm, however making the 2 work together will require fabrication that will kill my dual exhaust clearance.
So what other TQ arm options are there?

Re: What are my torque arm options?
Lots of guys have run true dual exhaust with all sorts of stuff under there. I'd check out the exhaust threads, personally, and the LS1/LT1 swap threads, too. I saw stuff about true duals in those threads, with aftermarket crossmembers and such. Best wishes.

Re: What are my torque arm options?
I feel your pain. I have the Spohn torque arm as well and made a dual hump style crossmember. There is no where to build a mount for the arm on the crossmember. So I am going to cut the torque arm down a few inches and then build a completely new mount for it that is not part of the transmission crossmember. Another option, though one I have no expierence with, is the Jegster torque arm.

It doesn't seem like the Jegster TQ arm has any allowable lateral movement, so how is that possible. Wouldn't that just twist your floor?

Re: What are my torque arm options?
It actually has a decent amount of movement and is built the same way I am going to modify my Spohn one to work. The front link is a solid piece of bar that fits inside the torque arm. When you put the mount for the Jester on the car, you install it so that the bar is not bottomed out in the torque arm but is in a place where it can move around. It basically acts just like the driveshaft sliding in and out of the trans as the rear moves up and down.
