what to do with the tranny cooler lines and question about torque arm mount
im almost done my 700r4 to 5sp swap but i have 3 problems what do i do with the tranny cooler lines do i have to remove them and buy a plug or what? also do u HAVE to use a torque arm mount from a manual or can u modify it to fit the t5 and would it be horrible to drive without the torque arm for a day or two. and lastly the biggest head scratcher is the clutch and brake pedal are bolted up and everything tight but the clutch and brake pedal both sway side to side about a inch. what the hell can i do to fix this i was thinking about putting some kind of shim up there any ideas? thanks for the help

You will never make it out of your garage without the torque arm mounted. The rear axle will flip backwards and the stress on the driveshaft (the only thing that will hold from completely flipping backwards) will be under such stress the car wont move. You have to have the torque arm.
As far as the tranny cooler lines, just take them out. You shouldnt have to plug the holes in the radiator though it may be a good idea just to keep junk out just incase the radiator ever gets used in an auto car again. You may also have stuff drip out for a day or two if you dont plug it.
As far as the pedals moving side to side, just try tightening up the long bolt that holds everything together. The pedals I got were the same way and tightening helps a little. But mine too have about the same amount of play.
