i have an 87 iroc with a t5 out of a later year camaro. well the mecanical gear i have on it now has a metal rod with the gear that slips right on the end.It in NOT the one peice gear shaft style one. where do i buy different gears from and how do i know which ones to buy because they only say gear through gms websit with no pic or description.

 

i believe it was a 90camaro. also it has the smaller style vss in it. im really lost guys it says im going way faster then i am please help me.

 

go to your local gm dealer thery might be able to help ya tell what year the tranny is and what rear end gears you have they should be able to tell you what colors you need and any info on the tranny id number or such

 

What tire size and rear gear are you running?

The new sleeves have a seal that is left in position for the longer length shaft gears or pushed further in for the shorter length shaft gears.
