Re: e bay stall convertor

imho save the money. unless someone has used it and tested it i would not do it. there are other brands besides tci that you could get. remember that if you get a cheap or unproved converter that goes ouyt it can destroy much more.

There are some good feedbacks on Ls1Lt1.com for that converter. They supposely are worth the money.I m getting one as soon as I finish my 700r4 build.

I can't speak for that specific company,......but whatever you do, absolutely DO NOT buy one of those ACC converters they sell on ebay. (Formerly known as Alabama Converter) They're JUNK and will not last.

After hearing "skirtland1980" say he's made nearly 100 passes on a red neck converter, I would probably go with one those instead.

Re: e bay stall convertor

what stall did you get? and what brand? was it the rev max one? and how much power are you putting? I need to order one with a 3600 stall and if it's a decent converter for the price it aint bad at all.

Re: e bay stall convertor

I just bought the 4500 red neck converter and have used them in the past, but only the 3500 stall converter. I have used them with nitrous and have had no problems. I admit that I am using their converters with a t-350 and the motor pumping around 500 hp w/o nos.

Re: e bay stall convertor

ok, I ended up getting the rev max 3600 with updated carbon fiber clutch, made about 10-15 passes at the track and some street action and haven't had problems so far, I paid $275 shipped plus upgrade extra $40. I say, if you're in a budget go for it, if you got the money go precision industries.
