Where can I find Duraprene pan gaskets
Where can I get a good Duraprene pan gasket for 700r4?
I think Dana has some, but I really could use one this weekend.
Does any of the part stores carry a brand that is Duraprene?
Thanks
Brad

Re: Where can I find Duraprene pan gaskets
found one here
http://transpartsonline.com/tpfile/t...sPartsType=700
I ordered a new pan from TCI that comes with a gasket. Not sure what kind though. Will see when it gets here. Hopefully I can get this thing to stop leaking. Its driving me crazy.
I have never had one leak so bad as this one. Ive had around 5 other cars that I at one point or the other had the trans pan off. None of them leaked afterwards. Not sure what Im doing wrong on this one. Thats one reason I bought a new pan to see if that helps any.
This time Im doing exactly as I have read on here. clean surface, wait, clean surface, wait, clean, Repeat until dry. Put on the pan with gasket dry. Install bolts in criss cross fashion. Hand tighten, then tighten to 80 in-lbs.
