Engine: 355 vortec hotcam tpi
Transmission: t-5
t5 help very odd?

when i have the clutch pushed in and stick in neutral and rev the gas to much 3000 rpm's or so i get a grinding noise let the clutch out and it stops. any idea whats wrong

clutch throw out bearing . time for a new clutch , pressure plate , pilot bearing & throw out bearing . normally all parts ( stock ) , come as a kit . just did mine a month ago . not a bad job , but not easy . be sure to inspect flywheel & re-surface it . good luck .

When you say resurface flywheel. Sand it? Or do I have to take it in to get resurfaced?
