not sure where its comong from

ok i've searched the threads and only found one with a slightly similar problem. onyl he has a manual i have the 700r4. lately when i take off from a stop in first and second i can hear and kind of feel this weird whirring vibration from between the front seats. its only when i step on the gas at slow speeds and only lasts for maybe less then 3 seconds. car shifts normally. any ideas before i decide to have the tranny rebuilt?

You should get it looked at. Probably nothing serious...but just in case.

Have you checked your U joints for play?

I defienetly would not go get the trans rebuilt over this just based on a hunch. Thats a lot of money.

could be a bad transmission mount, possible but doubt full bad torque arm bushings, bad u joints
