Car: 1983 camaro
Engine: 383sbc
Transmission: 700r4
700r4 won't shift
i have a 700r4 that wont shift into 3 or 4 automatically if i pull the shift in to 2 and bring the car to 4000 rpm then shift to 3 it will go in 3 and then 4 no problem. what is wrong? do i need a rebuild or should i buy a performance tranmission. i have a 383 stocker making 475hp and 500tq
