Help!! T56 swap issue

Ok the swap went in perfectly from the 4th gen pedals to the brand new pre-bled GM hydrolics. The t56 is in perfect working order. Brand new throwout bearing, brand new GM flywheel, GM clutch ,GM Pressure plate. The issue we are having is the pressure plate is not releasing from the clutch enough to be able to get it in gear while running or starting it in gear without the car wanting to roll. It is just plain not disingaging all the way. Any ideas would be helpful.

I know you bought pre bled hydraulics, but its still possible there is air in there. The factory doesnt get everything right all the time.

Re: Help!! T56 swap issue

Our problem is solved. DO NOT use the torque specs out of the Haynes repair manual for the pressure plate bolts. They will be to loose and cause this symtom. Use GM's torque specs of 22lb's. Our problem is fixed.

Re: Help!! T56 swap issue

I have a question; How did you install the 4th gen pedals did you cut off the accelerator pedal bracket from the brake/clutch one? I am going to install the pedals and want to know of i use the gas pedal or not. Any help would be awesome.

Re: Help!! T56 swap issue

I used the whole 4thgen brake, clutch and gas pedal. I did no cutting or splicing of the pedals. As far as that goes, i thought it was a easy swap.
