Help identify tapered rubber bushing from clutch assembly?
I'm putting a new clutch assembly and T-5 into an 1984 Z28 that has been sitting without these parts for a while. I have an old rubber bushing (see attached picture) that came out of it, but there was no replacement for this in the clutch kit... and to be honest, I can't remember where this part came from. It fits on the transmission's input shaft, but it doesn't look like there's room for it to be there once assembled. Can anyone help me remember where this piece goes? Perhaps it's made redundant by one of the metal bushings that came in the clutch kit?
Thanks.
Thanks.
