700R4 behind my BBC
Hello, I am wrapping up the final loose ends on my BBC swap project and have a question. I am running a full carbed 454 in my 83 T/A. I pulled the ECM and rewired everything else throught the C100. I have a rebuilt (BUILT) 700R4 behind the BBC. I believe that there is a small 4prong weatherpack connector that runs to the tranny but I believe that this runs through the ECM. Not having an ECM, this presents a problem. Does that control the lockup? Can I drive the thing without this plugged in or will it hurt? I know that I can buy a lockup kit but I was just wondering if I can still drive?
