9 bolt backing plates ----> LT1 rear?

I have a friend with a good LT1 10 bolt rear, but it does not have the brake caliper brackets on it. I believe the PBR calipers will swap over to the 10 bolt, but will the brackets?
I understand that I will need to buy new rotors.

Nine-bolt backing plates, because the bolt pattern is different, won't bolt up to a ten-bolt rear. With the correct 10-bolt backing plates, which are sold by Ed Miller and others, PBR's can be used.
