Hydraulic clutch

Is the Hydraulic clutch connected to the brake master cylinder in any way? Because I just got the 700r4 in and filled after some issues that needed to be fixed and when i backed it out of my shed/workshop I could barely stop.

no, the only connection to the brakes is simply the metal bracket that holds the clutch fluid reservoir. there are no fluid connections to the brakes

Ok thanks, I couldn't tell from the pictures in my haynes manual
