Ok when my tranny is in D when I slow down to a stop, it thumps really hard, but when I am in OD it does not do it can somebody tell me why or what this is, Thanks

 

Have you checked your trans mount lately?

 

I looked at it and it looks fine and I tried shaking the tranny under the car no exsesive movment, is there a better method?

 

Yeah, there is a better method. When my car was doing something similar to yours, I looked at my trans mount and it looked just fine. But to satisfy my further curiosity, I decided to take it out, and low and behold, it fell out in too pieces. Just my

 

80% sure it is your tranny mount. Had the same thing happen a while back
