Transmission fluid change - when?
When should tranny fluid be changed in the 700R4? It's been 4 years since this tranny was rebuilt and installed, but ALOT of the last 4 years it has sat (other mods and restore, and paint/body work). I've just really started driving it consistently this year - there might be 5k or 6k miles on it since the tranny rebuild. I want to change filter/fluid on a good consistent basis. I did not use synthetics when installed, and I don't really want to start either - agreed it's good stuff, but my wallet really can't take that blow right now.
