Auto Trans power reduction

OK....We all know that autos rob more HP the manuals trans. That is a given. Everybody quotes the estimated % that is widely accepted. But has anyone ever dyno'd before & after, with no other mods? I'd like to hear from more than just 1 person, to get a broader sample & compare #s between people.

Anybody?

Re: Auto Trans power reduction

It's not a straight percentage.
Auto tune cars can take more timing advance so it wouldn't be an apples to apples comparison.
Just food for thought.

Re: Auto Trans power reduction

Yes it is (can be). Just swapping trannies & not changing the PROM or tuning. What would someone get?
