How to remove TV Valve

In the process of installing the TransGo 700 2+3 kit and when I removed the TV Valve Retaining clip I tried to get the valve out of the bore and it would not come out. Trans is in on the engine stand and the valve is stuck down at the bottom of the bore now. I have attempted to remove it by flipping the trans to face down and have gravity help get it out but it seems the valve will not budge. Pushing on it shows the valve will not move farther down the bore.

Is there a trick to release the valve from the bore?
Please help and thanks in advance!

Try a good magnet. I use a magnet and gently pry with a flathead screwdriver. But then again thats with the Valve body removed. Hope it helps. Heck......hope ya already have it out!!!!!!!! lol
