quick performance 9 inch?
Hey guys, I was searching around for affordable 9 inch set ups for my camaro when i came across what looks like a good set up allowing for stock brake use but with no center section and all mounting brackets installed. all for 995 off ebay.

all i know is its a remanufactured housing, and cost about the same as a moser bolt in housing and axle package. At least with moser you get all new parts, im sure better axles, and a selection of housing ends for different brakes.

hmm u r absolutely right after a double check. I've been trying to learn everything i can bout this whole car and the different stock and aftermarket parts. I though being able to save the money on not needing new brakes would b good. Not to mention i didnt think there was any way to use stock brakes as every rear end supplier says u cannot retain stock brakes. After some research if u buy the moser 9 new u can save almost 200 dollars on the willwood setup alone.
thank you for the reply.

you need a lot more power than you 305 will put out to really warrent the expense of the 9". maybe focus on the exhaust, intake and suspension before worrying about the axle. IMHO

Re: quick performance 9 inch?
Lol that tiny 305 is just temporary. That would b completly pointless lol.
however in the process of installing the ls1 in my garage i want to build up everything to handle the power i plan to put in it b4 it goes in. If i can build everything minus the engine and trans b4 i put it in i can sell the stockers. If i kept them til they broke they'd be worthless. Atleast i could get some money back granted it would b nowhere the full cost of the swap.
