700r4 tv cable adjustment

Car: 88 IROC Z
Engine: 5.7
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 BOLT POSI
700r4 tv cable adjustment

i cant get it adjusted right. it shifts good when driving normal but at full throttle 2nd to 3rd shifts late or doesnt want to shift untill i let go of the gas then press it back in. by the way i just put in a rebuilt 700r4 with shift kit. and the tv cable is after market. thanks for looking

Axle/Gears: Posi - 3.23

The rebuilt may still have something wrong with it. Mine is the same way going into overdrive but she is still good to go, other than the reverse that decides when it wants to work. Here is a link on how to properly adjust it......... https://www.thirdgen.org/detent

ugh i did that correctly. to a tranny shop my car goes...

Im not even gonna think about spending $1000 + on rebuilding my tranny. Gonna buy a tranny rebuild manual. Gotta learn sometime.

did rebuild it myself. spent almost 700 bucks in parts incl. converter..did someting wrong i guess...to the shop it goes...
