i have a 92 rs heritage edition, i replaced the motor with the exact same thing that was in it, a 305 tbi it has a 700 r4 trans, in the process the trans fell off the jack an ripped the shifter cable, i put a new cable on an now it wont go into park. i dont see any adjustment on it but it looks like it needs to move forward about 2 inches. i would greatly appreciate any advice.
