IM A NEW GUY AT THIS..
i have the tunercats program, the pockett programmerII, and a 94 chevy pickup.

im trying to program these 29c256 chips, but cant.
every which way i program, they all dont work. its allways in limpmode.
where do i need to set the device start,end,byte program,and buffer start???
theres got to be a special setting on all these because ive tried every way i could imagine for the past 12 hours, and have no patience left!

ive read everything i could, i give up.

any help would be great

 

You've only been stuck for 12 hours and you think that's a problem LOL?

I don't use a PP- there are plenty of blokes on here who do. I've seen your question answered before, so keep reading and searching. I'd suggest if you don't get an answer as soon as you want, you quote some of the solutions in other posts to show what you've tried that didn't work.

Stuff like where to "set the device start,end,byte program,and buffer start???" has all been covered. Unless you describe what you're doing, no one knows how to tell what you're doing wrong.
