auto to 5 speed ???

Engine: 350 jegs crate motor
Transmission: 700r4 b&m transpak and megashifter
Axle/Gears: stock posi 3.23 disk brokes
auto to 5 speed ???

i was interested in swapping to a 5 speed wanting a little more info and any advice wondering what tranny might bolt up to 350 crate motor approx. 350 horse the car is a 88' will the auto drive shaft work? tranny mounting crossmember? 5 or 6 speed? vette tranny? worth the effort ? have a 700r4, b&m transpak, megashifter, vette servo, alum. driveshaft also what about the torque arm will it have something to bolt to? or will i have to get a tunnel mount thanks in advance

is there any other vehicles that have a manual trans that would fit in the camaro's with out doing MAJOR mods? or just third gen tranny's

Due to the Torque Arm rear suspension mount on the tranny, you'll need a 3rd gen tranny, or get a Torque Arm Relocation crossmember, then you can run a "standard" tranny.

But the crossmember isn't a major mod. Simply unbolt the old & bolt in the new.
