Engine: 305

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: stock

please help

i had a bad shifter cable on my car, replaced it with a new one now it wont go into park....any help an i would be greatfull

i put the trans in neutral and the shifter in neutral then tightned the nut. the cable comes too far out of the sheathing and binds up....
