OK, so I just finished installing a transgo reprograming kit into my transmission. I decided to go full manual since I only drive it on the weekends. When I first installed it I had every gear except 1st. I installed a corvette servo and gained 1st but i lost 3rd. I tore it back apart to check everything and when I put it back together lost 1st, and I didn't change anything at all. I can pull the tv cable out about half way and fix it there so it wont move and it will shift into all gears except 1st. Its not that I just don't have first gear it locks up in solid. I've tried everything that I can think of to try to fix it. I'm tempted to put a th350 in the car but i hate to loose overdrive. Please help me!!

 

i have a similar problem....installed a transgo shift kit and added a corvette servo...i can get it into 1st ...but its not there...just makes noise...like its not in gear....i set mine up for full auto though.

 

i got the trans to shift into first but then i didn't have third, when i had one i didn't have the other. i worked on it for around 2 weeks. i gave up on it and i bought a 5 speed set up for it yesterday. no more 700's for me haha
