Clutch help

I replaced the clutch today, it still slips and it makes a horrible wrapping noise metal on metal almost...and its a steady noise when the car is running.. could we have installed the clutch disc backwards?

That or installed throwout bearing incorrectly. Remove trans and inspect.

The noise ended up being a piece of tin rubbing against the housing something like that my husband said...noise is fixed...however it still slips, I have been told the flywheel was not resurfaced enough....

Take it out. Have the pressure plate and flywheel both machined (not scuffed) and if everything else is okay, the new clutch will work like one. It absolutely will not when using an unmachined flywheel.
