Hi all, new to this site and i live in the uk...I must be one of very few folk over here who have a third gen camaro... i currently have a 86 5.0 tpi z28 iroc..

But it seems to smoke when i drive it... the problem being from the gearbox dipstick!!! kinda stange i know... any ideas on what it could be?

Car has been stood for some time before thi happened...

a dipstick would mean a auto trans? the fluid is burning, either its low, or the trans is going. Or possibly its overfilled and it overflowing and getting ont he exhaust?

 

Hi, yes it is auto trans... its not overfilled and it selects all gears nicely... it might be a bit low.. will check on this...it last drove fine no problems just smoke out of the dipstick from the auto trans...
