Ok so yesterday im driving along about 55 mph, was going to pass a slow mini van, stepped on the gas, and the engine revved almost to redline. It was slipping quite bad with no warning in 4th. Then i shifted out of overdrive, and it had a little better grab in drive, but still slipping a little. About 10 mins later, i stopped for gas, checked trans fluid, was fine, unburnt. After leaving the gas station, i no longer had any grab in 3rd or 4th gear. Essentially i seem to have lost them. I drove the car home in 2nd gear. Checked the trans fluid today again, not the problem, and it is not burnt. What im hoping is someone here knows about these trannys, and to tell me if the Trans Control Solenoid could be causing this, or if my trans is dead allogether.

Any help/Advvice is appreciated.

The car is a 92 Camaro RS 25th Anniversary. The engine is a 305 TBI, Automatic Transmission..not sure on the model. 175k miles, mostly highway as i road trip alot.If any more info is needed, please ask...i will be checking this frequently.
