hey all

broke another tranny mount. has anyone found a decent replacement tranny mount for a T5?

I have a '90 IROC i just replaced the torque arm mount with the UMI piece (kudos to UMI they market a stout piece of hardware). So the torque-arm-trans-bolt-breaking issue is gone. unfortunately replaced with the tranny mount bolt breaking issue

i checked Energy Suspension it looks like their poly mount is a universal fit which has me wondering if it will handle the torque.

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you like the clutch palric? If you don't mind me asking

 

the clutch looks perfect, I installed it and have some issues with shuddering. Also the ZOOM web pages says kevlar faces the flywheel however the only way to install it is with the kevlar side facing the pressure plate. Maybe causing a problem? It does not slip once engaged but seems to have problems when engaging. (shaking, shuddering). Re-torq'ed all bolts to spec, does not seem to be anything amiss with the install.

 

I wonder if the clutch just needs to break in? Hopefully it goes away at least
