When I was much younger I had an 89 Firebird Formula for my first car, but sold it because I wanted a manual. Now that I am a bit older I am considering buying a third gen again and paying a speed shop to convert it to manual as I have my heart set on a 350 that I can rebuild into some serious power. What should I expect a speed shop to charge me to swap in a T56 including the price of transmission. I would really appreciate any estimates or advice from you far more experienced folk.
