a/m moser rear end help

ok guys i bought a used moser 9" rear end for my 86 camaro. hear is the deal it did not come with any brakes and it has a wheel bolt pattern of 5 x 4 3/4 with 31 spline axles and big ford bearings, with no flange to bolt axles to rear end and
the rear end has a flange size of 3 1/2 x 2 3/8 ( i was told is early big ford ) . I dont want drums unless i have to and i dont want to buy the expensive wilwood kit. i would rather piece together something or buy a cheaper disc brake set up. i have done some searching with no luck. any help would be great with specific years models or even part numbers thanks all

http://www.moserengineering.com/othe...sing-ends.html Figure out exactly which ends you have and then a set of brakes can be recommended. You can not pick out brakes until you figure out what ends you have. You need to find out if you have the flush mount or standard bore ends.

Re: a/m moser rear end help

You have many options with those ends. I used Lincoln Mark 5 disc brakes on mine. The smaller Lincoln Versailes (probably spelled that wrong) disc bakes will also fit. There are probably hundreds of aftere market disc brakes that will fit those ends. I hope the axle bearigns are not pressed on yet. If they are then they will have to be removed and replaced so that the caliper brackets can be installed.
