Hey Guys I'm re-posting this from my previous thread cause I think everyone who saw the original thread still thinks its about the Trans Go in general!
So per Danas reply which is attached below has anyone done this modification, and do you like or dislike it and why?

You still will have downshifts around town at speeds less than 55 - 60mph, but once you get above a certain point, the 4-3 downshift will get harder to make until at higher speeds it will not downshift "at all". If you want third gear, just grab the lever and bring it back to third and give it a little gas at the same time and you will have third instantly. You will be able to hold third to any rpm and move the lever to fourth and have it right now. This works great at higher speeds where you want to go around somebody, but do not want it to downshift when you just want WOT in fourth gear.

My mod was a little more involved. It involved the purchase of a T56 transmission and associated parts. 
But if i still had a 700r4 i'd do it. I wish I had done it on my old TPI/700r4 setup, I did everything else to that trans.
