Torque Converter Help

I am finally at this part of my build and now looking for a torque converter. I know I want a 9-10 inch with around 2800-3200 stall. I have found these, but not to sure what I want to go with. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

Also this is going in a 30 spline 700r4 with a 406 with comp xr288 3.42 rearend. Im not to sure on 700r4 but do I need a lockup converter or is it worth having one?

BDR in my th400 works pretty well, and free restalls other than shipping.

How many times can that converter be re-stalled before the housing is junk from too much welding / heating?

Re: Torque Converter Help

I'm not sure on that, but I did ask him how many restalls and for how long of a time period does this apply for and he basically said for infinity...within reason, although I've only restalled once. I talked to him one time and said that the converter I got originally was pretty close, so I didn't want a restall in that one. He let me send him another converter I had, and he restalled that one. He said he likes to deal in a certain converter diameter, I think 9", so he thus knows the most on how to design these size converters for many conditions.
