Just a quick question: I swapped my 700R4 out for a T56 on my 89 GTA L98. I installed the dakota digital box and speedometer is working just fine. My question out of curiosity is if the computer was not getting a VSS signal would it still throw a code if you had not wired it so the car thought it was in D (Drive selected). In other words if the car was still wired to think it was in neutral and there was no VSS going to the computer would it still throw a code?
